We keep numerical claims attached to the experiment that produced them. Original studies and patents define the starting point for the Antaeus program.

Bemitil human studies: original findings and limitations ↗

01 / HUMAN BEMITIL

Operator performance / 1988

PMID 3066983 ↗: placebo comparison during simulated spaceflight and 56-hour continuous work. Reported task results: tracking quality +10%, pursuit errors 1.8-fold lower, visual-detection time 2.4-fold shorter. Historical indexed abstract reviewed; sample size and allocation details unavailable.

02 / HUMAN BEMITIL

Original voyage scan and controlled workload

The recovered 1991 paper describes 298 maritime operators with detailed testing in a 20-person subset. Reported static-effort endurance increased 13.7% in treated sailors. The recovered 2019 monograph describes a double-blind 78-volunteer workload experiment. Source format, subset size and allocation limitations remain explicit.

03 / HUMAN BEMITIL

A broader clinical and measurement record

Human research also includes a 130-patient asthenia comparison, adjunctive infection and lupus reports, combination studies and exposure measurements. These settings supply context. They do not establish modern efficacy for the Antaeus indication. The dedicated review links every report directly.

04 / ANIMAL PATENT EXAMPLES

Bemitil and chlodantane at 40°C

RU2704126C2 Table 2 reports 41.66 minutes with Bemitil and 56.23 with a chlodantane formulation, versus 27.69 in controls. Calculated increases are 50.5% and 103.1%. Different doses and formulation effects limit comparisons. Bemitil group size is inconsistent in the text.

05 / DALARGIN

Hospital signal, material limitations

Antonova et al. 2023: 104 patients, 38 Dalargin / 66 controls. ARDS 5.3% / 21.2%; mortality did not differ significantly. Full-text methods do not report randomization or blinding. Restrictive exclusions and prolonged hospital infusion limit field translation.

07 / NEED / OFFICIAL 2025 SURVEILLANCE

518 heat-stroke cases and 2,233 heat-exhaustion cases

The May 2026 MSMR report records these 2025 case counts among U.S. active-component service members. Heat-stroke incidence increased 6.9% from 2024, while heat-exhaustion incidence fell 9.1%. We use the latest report rather than presenting the 2024 increase as the current trend.
